FitGo Privacy Policy

FitGo ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the FitGo mobile application and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: email address, username, and profile details when you register;
  • Fitness profile: age, height, weight, fitness goals, activity level, and workout preferences to personalize your training plans;
  • User-generated content: workout notes, custom routines, and feedback you submit.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: features you use, workout sessions completed, session duration, and interaction patterns;
  • Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version;
  • Log data: IP address, crash reports, and performance data for service improvement.

1.3 Health & Fitness Data (Optional)

If you grant permission, we may read and sync fitness data from Apple Health, including:

  • Steps, active calories, and workout records;
  • Weight and body measurement data you choose to share.

We only access data you explicitly authorize and use it solely to display your progress within the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the FitGo Service;
  • Generate personalized workout plans and recommendations;
  • Track your fitness progress and display statistics;
  • Send service-related notifications, reminders, and updates (you can opt out in device settings);
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account;
  • Respond to customer support requests;
  • Analyze app performance, fix bugs, and optimize user experience;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following cases:

3.1 Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (payment processing, analytics, hosting, customer support). These providers are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it for specified purposes.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, safety, or the safety of users and the public.

3.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you before your personal data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

3.4 Aggregated/Anonymized Data

We may use de-identified, aggregated data for research, analytics, and marketing purposes. This data cannot be used to identify you individually.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access and correction: You can view and update your profile information within the app settings.
  • Data deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting facecam.2025.ai@outlook.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Push notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
  • Apple Health permissions: You can manage or revoke Health app access in your device Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
  • Opt out of analytics: You may opt out of non-essential analytics through app settings where available.

6. Children's Privacy

FitGo is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted within the app and will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
